Angela Proffitt is a celebrity wedding planner, entrepreneur, and productivity coach with more than a decade of experience in the wedding and event industry. Angela is the owner and lead designer for Vivid Experiences, a full-service event and wedding planning company. With the help of her team, Angela’s work has been featured in more than 100 publications, including People magazine, Us Weekly, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine, and Style Me Pretty. In 2012, she was recognized as one of the best wedding and event planners by Nashville Scene’s “Best of Nashville.”
Beyond creating personalized events for clients, Angela is known for implementing technology to operate a paperless organization and leveraging her education in psychology to master communication with clients, vendors, and team members. As a result of her business success, Angela is now a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, a global business network for entrepreneurs whose companies gross more than $1 million annually.
After years of coaching planners individually, Angela is broadening her focus to provide education and resources that allow her to help more wedding industry professionals achieve success in their businesses. In addition to writing books, teaching online classes, and speaking at live events, Angela has partnered with Event Decor Direct to create MyEventVoice – a social media management service for wedding and event planners. She recently worked with Event Decor Direct, the premier online retailer for professional wedding and event decor products, to design their signature collection. With these partnerships, Angela is creating tools that help wedding planners better serve current clients, create personalized events, be more productive, and identify prospective clients.
