Thank you so much to subscribing to the Evolve Your Wedding Business emails packed full of value and advice. I really look forward to getting to know you!

Let’s talk email whitelisting. More and more often these days different email providers are using programs to block unwanted email, often referred to as “spam”. Rightfully so, spam sucks.

Sometimes, however, these programs block email you want to get. To be sure you receive emails from me, follow these quick tutorials…

Make sure you add my email address to your email whitelist to ensure the best chance of seeing my messages.

WTF is a whitelist?

A whitelist is a list of people, companies or contacts you want to hear from—or a list of email addresses or domain names from which an email blocking program will allow messages to be received.

Why is this important?

Unsolicited, unwanted advertising email, commonly known as “spam”, has become a big problem.

It’s reached such proportions that most email services and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have put some sort of blocking or filtering system in place—whether or not you want to hear from that person.

Fortunately there is something you can do about it! You can whitelist!

Now obviously there are a lot of different email services and each is different…

Below are instructions for some of the more popular ones.

If yours isn’t here, please contact your ISP’s customer service team and ask for their instructions.

  • In your inbox, locate an email from heidi@evolveyourweddingbusiness.com – like your welcome you just received from me!
  • Drag this email to the “primary” tab of your inbox.
  • You’ll see that emails from me will go to your primary folder in the future. Easy peasy.

  • Select this and an “Add to contacts” pop-up should appear. Select “Save”
